Sanskrit Club
We believe that Sanskrit literature nurtures sensitivity and provides a refined perspective to everyone. The Sanskrit Club thus provides an environment outside the classroom for students to explore and learn the language freely.
We organise summer camps to promote awareness about the language and its rich literary heritage. Our ‘Samskrit Sambhashana Shibira’ or spoken Sanskrit classes accustom students to conversational Sanskrit. To explore their understanding of the language beyond passive absorption, students are encouraged to also write poems and short stories. Our students are prepared for the Prathama, Dwiteeya and Praveshika exams. The club also provides lecture classes on Vedas, Upanishads and Kavyas, conducting various competitions on the same.
Through these initiatives, the Sanskrit Club aims to connect students to this timeless wisdom meaningfully.
