RV Girls High School

Mr. Devaru Bhat

Headmaster , RVGHS

Education is often described as the light that removes the darkness of ignorance. It is not just about reading books or memorising facts; it is the process of learning values, skills, and wisdom that help a person live meaningfully. A well-educated person becomes confident, disciplined, and aware of his or her responsibilities towards family and society.

The Sanskrit saying “Vidya Dadati Vinayam ” beautifully explains the chain of benefits that education brings. It teaches humility, and humility makes one deserving. From worthiness comes prosperity, and from prosperity comes the ability to live a righteous and happy life.

The education of girls is often said to be the education of the whole family. When a girl is educated, she not only uplifts herself but also strengthens her family and community. The Sanskrit verse  “Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devata” reminds us that where women are respected, prosperity dwells. Education is one of the highest forms of respect we can give to a girl, for it gives her the power of independence, self-expression, and dignity.

RV Girls’ High School, a top-rated institution managed by the RASTREEYA SHIKSHANA SAMITI TRUST, proudly celebrates its 63rd anniversary. Since its establishment in 1962, our school has been dedicated to empowering young women with the knowledge, values, and confidence they need to succeed in the future.

With the support of our dedicated staff and the RV Trust, we have built a thriving community with excellent infrastructure and a supportive learning environment. We are committed to fostering an atmosphere where every student feels free to express herself, ask questions, and pursue excellence.

Our motto, “Each one reach one,” drives our mission to prepare every student to be a strong and responsible member of society. We are constantly embracing new ideas and challenges to improve our teaching and learning methods. We also plan to open admissions to boys in the near future.

To our RV Girls’ High School community, let’s continue to grow together and carry our school’s banner to new heights. GO, CHANGE THE WORLD.
