With the help of the Excursion Committee, educational tours to places of historical, cultural and academic importance are arranged often. These tours are thoughtfully planned to combine education with delight. Such tours develop leadership qualities while creating memories that last a lifetime.
Our Sports Meet held every alternate year, is a grand celebration of talent and teamwork. The event features a wide range of activities, including track and field events, team games, indoor sports and a March-Past competition. Students also present impressive group performances such as aerobics, yoga, Zumba and mass P.T. We take pride in inviting renowned sports personalities to inspire our students during this occasion.
Sports events are not just for students as teachers also participate in special competitions and winners across categories are honoured with prizes.
Our school takes immense pride in celebrating its Annual Day every alternate year with grandeur and enthusiasm. This special occasion brings together students, staff and esteemed guests from various fields like academics, culture, cinema, entrepreneurship, sports and politics.
This day serves as a platform to recognise and celebrate the talents and achievements of our budding students. Throughout the year, the Student Union Club organises a series of literary and cultural competitions, culminating in an awards ceremony where the winners are honoured.
The highlight of the event are the cultural performances by our students, which are a display of their creativity and inherent potential. The celebration concludes with a grand school day lunch, making it a truly memorable experience for our students, staff and guests alike.
Inter-school Music
Since 1966, our school has been a proud host of the Inter-School Music Competition in classical and contemporary music. This event serves as a platform for students from different schools to showcase their musical skills.
Eminent personalities are invited to judge the performances and encourage participants. The winners are honoured with prizes and certificates.
Through this competition, we recognise and celebrate the young, emerging talent of RVGHS.
