RV Girls High School

Work Experience (Craft and SUPW)

Through carefully planned activities, our students gain both knowledge and practical skills with Work Experience. These programmes give students a chance to participate in social and economic activities both inside and outside the classroom. They also help students understand and appreciate Gandhian principles and philosophy in education.

Craft Classes
Students learn a variety of useful and creative skills such as knitting, embroidery, candle making, soap making and tailoring. They also gain hands-on experience by preparing everyday items like phenyl and liquid soap. These activities help students develop fine motor skills, patience and creativity.

SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work)
This club includes activities that help in the all-round development of a child — cognitive (thinking skills), affective (feelings and attitudes) and psychomotor (practical and physical skills). Through SUPW, students learn life skills that will help with their development and experience.
