GIRL GUIDE
Yoga helps students gain physical, mental and intellectual health. This improves the spiritual knowledge of the students. The spiritual knowledge helps in the all round development of personality. The practice of Pranayama, different Asanas and Meditation improves memory and concentration of the students. Our school had the proud privilege of earning the laurel of the Chief Minister and the Education Minister of Karnataka and more than twelve thousand audiences at the Kanteerva Stadium on the Rajyotsava Day Celebrations on 1st November 2011, when the whole strength of 650 students displayed about twenty yogasanas.
On October 2, as part of the Swacch Bharath Andolan, 15 guides cleaned our school compound.
On November 20, 2015, World Child Rights Day, 25 guides participated in the Human Chain Rally organized by the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
As part of the Community Development Programme, the guides assisted students in opening their own Bank Accounts.
On November 23rd, a First Aid workshop for guide students was conducted by Basavangudi Local Association.
On December 16th, 14 guides attended a rally conducted by Basavangudi local Association Rally at Makkala Koota.
