ECO CLUB:
- Fifteen Girl Guides went on a Cycle Rally from R.V.Girls’ High School to Kanteerava Stadium on June 5th 2016 – World Environment Day.
- Students went to Siddara Betta, Tumkur, to attend an awareness programme on Swacch Bharath conducted by The Sharada Mutt. They also attended an Adolescent Awareness Programme at Junjuramanahalli, Tumkur.
- Drawing, painting and essay competitions were conducted by RMSA, in our School on 27.2.2016, and six students won prizes.
- A Lecture by Mr. M.G. Narasimha Murthy on Water Conservation was arranged on 2.3.2016
- On 28th November 2016, a power point presentation was arranged on E-waste Management. Mr. Krishna Reddy, Registrar, R.V. Engineering College, explained the importance of Electronic Wastes Management.
- On 5th June 2017, 20 students participated in the “World Environment Day” conducted by Gopalan Skill Academy and won prizes in the Drawing competition.
- On 2nd October 2017, Southern Railways and Eco Watch conducted ‘Swachh Bharath Abhiyan’. 12 guides and Guide Captain Mrs. Bettamma attended the programme and cleaned the luggage area at the Railway Station, Bangalore.
- On 26th November 2017, Adamya Chethana conducted “100 Sasyagruha” programme. 35 students attended the programme with Smt.Bettamma.
- On June 5th, The World Environment Day was organized in our school in collaboration with Behtar India by planting saplings in our school garden, The Chief guests for the Occasion were Mr. Midhun Paul, Zonal Head and Mrs. Shwetha, City Manager.
- In July, 2018, 180 students from 8th, 9th and 10th participated in the Drawing competition organised by the Education Department and won 12 prizes. Namratha V.P. – 8th A, Arfia Tabassum – 9th B, Yogitha M.S. – 10th won the I prize and got selected for District Level competition.
- On September 16, 2018, The World Ozone Day being celebrated at RV I M, 34 students participated in Drawing Competition and won 2 prizes. Kumari Alfia Tabassum, IX B – II Prize, and Kumari Lavanya R., IX B – III Prize.
